It's an absolute pleasure to have you here.

These days, my life is much quieter than it once was. After more than 25 years working with business owners across every stage of the Business Ownership Lifecycle, I have stepped away from day-to-day consulting to focus on family, writing, and travelling with the love of my life.

For a long time, business was my world.

I started businesses, bought businesses, sold businesses, and closed businesses. I sat across tables from owners, buyers, accountants, lawyers, bankers, and families navigating some of the biggest decisions of their lives. I experienced the exhilaration of success, the uncertainty of growth, the pressure of responsibility, and the occasional heartbreak that comes when things don't go to plan.

Like many business owners, I spent years chasing the next milestone, opportunity, and challenge. Along the way, I learned that building a business and meaningful life are not always the same thing.

In 2020, when the world slowed down, I did too.

What began as a way of documenting lessons from my own journey gradually evolved into a collection of books, workbooks, stories, and ideas. Looking back now, I realise I wasn't really writing about business at all. I was writing about hopes, fears, ambitions, mistakes, resilience, and the extraordinary things business-minded people build when they decide to back themselves.

Today, writing has become my primary focus.

My newest book, Here to There, brings together much of what I have learned from a lifetime spent in and around business. It introduces the Business Ownership Lifecycle which is a practical map for navigating the distance between where you are today and where you hope to be tomorrow.

Alongside this work, I am building My Wilde World. It is my literary studio and creative home where my books, characters, essays, travel journals, observations, philosophies, and creative projects will come together. Some explore business ownership, others explore identity, purpose, curiosity, creativity, family, travel, and the wonderfully messy experience of being human.

In the coming months, I will also be launching a Substack publication under the My Wilde World banner, where I will share stories, behind-the-scenes writing notes, ideas, works in progress, and reflections from the road. Think of it as an open studio: a place where you can follow along as books are imagined, written, revised, and brought to life.

More than anything, this website is a home for ideas and a place to share what I am writing, learning, travelling, and noticing along the way.

So whether you've arrived here by accident or intention, I invite you to settle in, explore, and stay awhile.
